Here is how I prefer to keep in touch, and why:
My preferred way to communicate is email because I practice inbox zero, use folders for filing and I can easily refer back to our plans. This helps me provide the best possible service so that I’m not asking you for the same information over and over, or having a hard time remembering where we communicated important details.
I use Instagram, but mostly for posting for Pack Dance and I often miss DMs, My personal Instagram functions more like a photo album for my own personal enjoyment.
I dislike LinkedIn as a platform, but use it to connect with work colleagues, and to keep an eye on the job market. I don't use it for ongoing communication.
I’ve been forced to use Slack as a resident of the Kranzberg Arts Foundation, but I still haven’’ figured it out.
I don’t post or connect with friends and colleagues on TikTok. I have an account that I rarely use to look up trending topics. Mostly I just watch posts from @planetmoney.
If you have a video to send me, please use WhatsApp or WeTransfer. WeTransfer is best if you’re sending from a laptop or desktop. WhatsApp is best if you’re sending from your phone.
I use Facebook messenger because it doesn’t discriminate on phone type (iPhone versus Android) but I rarely post and it’s unlikely that I will see others posts on this platform. This is my go-to for group chats
I honestly HATE texting. Mostly because it’s slow. If I’m with my computer and I can type responses, it’s great, but if I’m out and about and just have my fingers and phone… loathe. It’s also terrible for group messages, hence why I use Facebook messenger. It’s free and rarely has bugs.
I have left Twitter or "X" In the age of information overload, you just need to decide what platforms you will use and stick to it.
You can also use the contact form below and it goes straight to my email.
